Summary Under the supervision of the Director of Communications and Technology, the Marketing Manager will oversee St Andrew’s promotion and advertising efforts to build brand awareness as well as help people engage in church events, worship services, and missional work. Their initial responsibilities include developing marketing plans, approving campaigns, and measuring the return on investment of various advertising methods. This position works both independently and within a team to respond to the marketing and advertising needs of St. Andrew.
Essential Functions • Work with executive leadership and ministry departments to develop successful marketing strategies and campaigns that attract new congregation members, inform current congregation members, and expand our current online presence • Oversee editorial content for ad campaigns, marketing materials, and website content • Oversee social media strategy and implementation • Forecast, draft, implement, and oversee the department’s yearly marketing budget • Maintain knowledge on emerging products and services

Supervisory Responsibility This position oversees the marketing and graphics team.
Physical Demands This position would require the ability to move equipment from one location to another and the ability to lift 25 pounds.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work This position is a full-time salaried exempt at 36.5 hours per week. The position requires work on some weekends. Office hours will be set but are flexible around morning/evening events or other extra church activities.
Required Education and Experience • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field required; Master’s degree preferred. • At least five years of experience in marketing and long-range planning required.
