The Marketing & Recruitment Specialist will be responsible for managing ever-changing marketing operations tasks and supporting team members on a range of recruitment marketing projects to attract, recruit, and retain prospective and incoming students into NYU Wagner's broad range of educational offerings. A successful candidate will assist in creation of new assets, collaborating across departments to establish and optimize marketing processes, and coordinate recruitment marketing activities. The role will be responsible for: a) CRM management and recruitment marketing support; b) creating, and publishing marketing assets; c) regularly tracking metrics to measure the success of marketing and recruitment efforts; and d) ensuring adherence to the school’s overall brand and marketing strategies; e) collaborating with NYU Wagner staff, faculty, student and temporary workers, and external vendors.
Required Education: Bachelor's Degree
Preferred Education: Master's Degree in Public Affairs, Communications, Marketing, Design, Public Relations, or related field is preferred.
Required Experience: 2-3 years of professional experience as well as experience creating/coding custom templates, managing email campaigns and maintaining list health.
Preferred Experience: Project Management experience. Related experience at a college, university, or nonprofit organization is preferred.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: *Outstanding written and oral communication skills including experience in writing, editing, and proofing content. *Strong organization, planning skills and editorial judgement.
*Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with strong Excel skills.
*Knowledge of digital marketing and experience using multiple forms of new media and technologies.
*Knowledge of digital marketing reporting and diagnostic tools, including Google Analytics, Google AdWords, etc. and have an understanding of SEO strategies.
*Some experience with Adobe Creative Suite and/or design programs and services, including Canva.
*Enthusiasm for learning.
*Ability to handle situations independently within the scope of the position.
Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: *Proficiency in Google Analytics.
*Proficiency in video, audio, digital photograph processes, and editing software.
*Familiarity with iMovie and/or Final Cut Pro or an interest in learning.
*Graphic design skills a plus.
