The Associate Athletics Director for Marketing & Fan Experience will be responsible for achieving attendance goals for each sport and delivering a home field/court advantage for West Texas A&M Athletics. The position will be responsible for developing and executing marketing plans that drive attendance at games, increase support for the Buffalo Club and other special events. The Associate Athletics Director for Marketing & Fan Experience will be responsible for developing and executing all season ticket campaigns, group ticket sales and single game tickets for all venues. In addition, the position will direct the game experience for fans and students by coordinating activities of University Spirit to include bands, promotions, concessions, merchandise and game production, in addition to campus tailgating for football games. Further, the position will oversee all branding efforts of the department. This position is a member of the senior management team for athletics, reporting to the Director of Athletics. Supervision of the activities of graduate assistants, student employees and certain full-time employees on game days is required. It is necessary to work beyond normal office hours and on weekends.

Bachelor’s degree required
Must have at least 4 years of related experience in marketing, and promotions.
Computer experience in Microsoft Office, knowledge of Social Media applications is required. Professional writing, presentation, strong public-speaking and interpersonal skills are required.
Ability to multitask and work cooperatively. Effective verbal skills. Ability to interact effectively and professionally with the internal/external community. Strong long-term planning skills. Ability to work with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
