What will I be doing?
As a member of the Cedars-Sinai International team, the Director of Marketing is responsible for developing the marketing objectives, strategies, and tactics for Cedars-Sinai's prioritized international markets. Reporting to the Vice President and Medical Director for International, you will develop, design, and implement marketing strategies and tactics to support and drive overall growth for Cedars-Sinai. This role has a dotted line reporting relationship with the Senior Executive Director of Marketing. The Director of Marketing is responsible for identifying key approaches to target designated international markets and works collaboratively with internal and external partners to develop and executive plans. You will:
Develop and implement strategic marketing goals, strategies, and tactics for defined international markets. Identify marketing goals and objectives and develop the strategic roadmap to achieve desired results for target partners.
Facilitate the development of the following key tactical initiatives: e-newsletters, social media, advertising (traditional and digital), webinars, consumer research.
Provide strategic and tactical planning and support to achieve target goals through analysis of current market state, trends and opportunities. Development, oversight, and implementation of comprehensive marketing plans.
Serves as marketing liaison to key leaders (internal and external). Provides guidance on and alignment of specific business unit goals to ensure integration of marketing, business, and clinical activities in support of achieving goals in an efficient and effective manner.
Develops project scope (brief), goals and deliverables in collaboration with team. Evaluates and identifies appropriate methods, tools, vehicles, budget, measurement, and implementation tactics to reach plan goals.
Actively participates in development and evaluation of plans for new goals and/or markets.
Partner with the Marketing team in establishing advertising, content and call center strategies and tactics.
Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field required. Masters degree preferred.
A minimum of 8 years of progressive marketing experience in a large, complex organization required, preferably in healthcare advertising setting.
Experience in the development of international (regional or country-specific) campaigns and execution of email marketing, social advertising, and creative content development.
Analytical with the ability to diagnose detailed opportunities and risks in campaign performance reporting and budget management while simultaneously executing insights for senior management.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience in developing and maintaining strong relationships across cross-functional teams, strong business acumen and organizational agility.
