We are looking for a Global Head, Next Generation Engagement (NGE) Technology Transformation (TT) Program and Marketing Product Line with a passion for innovation to lead HCP, HCO, and patients-related program demand through close partnership with our Innovative Medicine (IM) colleagues. You will partner with colleagues from across IM and TT to drive program requirements and collaborate with the TT organization to ensure delivery to business stakeholders as per TT area service descriptions. The Global Head will oversee and coordinate all required governance processes, ensure clear roles/ responsibilities, develop program plans with clear milestones/ deliverables, identify/ manage all issues/ risks, address resource capacity planning, and ensure on-time delivery/ execution for TT Functions who contribute to the design/ delivery of NGE in-scope programs/ projects in the framework of the agreed internal service levels.
The scope of the role includes all applicable Digital technology vital in the transformation of our Sales and Marketing functions across Novartis IM. It entails elements such as customer relationship management, digital marketing, data and analytics, decision engines, marketing segmentation, social listening and many other areas in support of NGE. As well as, ensuring the Commercial architecture is well established, seamlessly integrated, and deployed to top markets globally.
This is a remote opportunity. This position can be based remotely anywhere in the U.S. (there may be some exceptions based on legal entity registration). Please note that this role would not provide relocation as a result. The expectation of working hours and travel (domestic and/or international) will be defined by the hiring manager.
Your Key Responsibilities: * Partner with business leadership and other key stakeholders to shape global business demand by defining high level technology requirements and ensures technology impact analysis is provided to business * Hold very strong marketing and marketing technology knowledge and experience * Exhibit strategic product management mindset necessary to establish the marketing product domain with their business product owner counterparts * Act as trusted advisor driving decisions, priorities and relevant project information with both business stakeholders and colleagues across TT * Global accountability for the success of the TT services(s) and projects delivered to business in accordance with project goals, time scales and costs in compliance with Novartis methodologies * Demonstrate program managements skills in building and maintaining complex program plans * Ensure creation of detailed TT solution/service design matching high level designs and functional specifications to meet quality and performance requirements * Proactively share knowledge of technology risks with business partners while partnering with SBPs/ PPDs teams to ensure continuous improvement of IT services, application rationalization and efficient management of existing systems and operations, while meeting internal service targets * Ensure that system designs adhere to solution architecture design (i.e. high level conceptual design) and are traceable to functional as well as non-functional requirements in projects/enhancements * Ensure designs produced adhere to architectural roadmap and support the development, execution and operations of solutions * Ensure system design standards are defined to improve and sustain standardization of solutions * Ensure that project/enhancements work is delivered to agreed time, cost and quality constraints following the release calendars * Take accountability to ensure adherence with Security and Compliance policies and procedures within Solution Design scope * Direct the delivery of strategic or large programs through active sponsorship, leadership and involvement in specific initiatives to ensure they meet time, cost and quality requirements * Direct outputs of a large project team, often across geographical boundaries * Create project plans and initiate program mobilization by confirming scope, estimate, resources, roles and responsibilities * Provide leadership and decision making support by establishing program governance * Monitor and control execution of program though all phases to ensure overall program success and effective use of resources * Provide program reporting including overall performance of the program and program completion documentation * Ensure appropriate use of project management methods and tools
