The Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) is the premier association for CPAs in Pennsylvania with more than 20,000 members working in public accounting, private industry, non-for-profit, government, and education. The PICPA is seeking a Marketing Communications Coordinator to performs essential marketing activities including planning, copywriting, and implementing promotions via direct mail, web, social media, blogs, and email to support PICPA membership and CPE products. The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of marketing principles, be comfortable with copywriting and editing, and have a team player mentality.
About the Position:
Implement integrated marketing campaigns to support product and event marketing using all marketing methodologies: email, web, SEO, social media, and print.
Collaborate with designers, marketing, and external influencers and industry experts to produce relevant content to expand PICPA’s digital footprint, awareness, subscribers, and leads.
Coordinate marketing for local events, advertising and sponsorships, award programs, and other duties as assigned.
Copywriting support for web, digital, print, and social media outlets.
Segment email lists based on behaviors like past email engagement and website interactions (content downloads, site page visits, etc.).
Measure results and optimize the tracks for these segments to convert leads to customers.
Utilize the CMS to develop, edit, and share content to web pages.
Review analytics, revise, and report on project results.
Work across teams to identify opportunities to cross promote products and services.
Support social media efforts, organic and paid.
Support Marketing & Communications Manager and Marketing Administrators on projects, as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
1-2 years related experience
Tech savvy with basic HTML knowledge
Strong writing and communication skills
Ability to seamlessly adapt to changing priorities
Knowledge of marketing principles and strategy
Copywriting and editing skills
Comfortable with social media platforms and marketing strategies (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Loomly, Hootsuite)
Exceptional attention to detail and brand consistency
Strong communication, collaboration, and project management skills
Capable of multitasking, prioritizing, managing time efficiently, and meeting tight deadlines
Experience with email service provider system (Constant Contact, Mail Chimp, etc)
Google Analytics knowledge
Google Adwords experience
Customer database and list management
Website Editing Tools (Hubspot, Wordpress, etc)
Canva or photo editing/creating tools
