TRSA is seeking a F/T Marketing Communications Associate to support its Marketing Communication Department. Department promotes 5-6 conferences, a dozen roundtables and nearly 20 webinars, as well as the sales of research, benchmarking, and compliance resources. Department also works with Membership on recruiting and retention as well as Certification on promotions related to trade shows, digital marketing, and welcome kits.
Primary Responsibilities –
Develop, test and implement email promotions for all events and certifications in My Emma email software platform.
Write, develop and post Linked In announcements for new and renewed Certifications.
Maintain promotion schedule of keys dates for all marketing projects, update marketing plans.
Work with IT department to track, maintain and manage all digital advertising and sponsorship media across various websites, email campaigns and more.
Help find and fix broken links across all websites
Use Cvent digital platform for updating event website with content.
Set up and place advertisement in e-mail for communication eblasts.
Pull and assemble monthly reports (website analytics, social media and communication stats).
Help update webpages for content edits, adding photos and fixing broken links.
Proofread all marketing promotions and ads.
Attend Marketing Committee virtual quarterly meetings, take notes and participate in discussions.
Work on special projects assigned by Senior Director, Marketing & Communications
Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum of 1 year of marketing or communications experience, can includes internship experience.
College Bachelor’s degree with communications, marketing or advertising major preferred.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Prefer experience with email software platforms (i.e. My Emma, Constand Contact, Mailchimp, etc.) but will train.
Basic graphic design knowledge with different media format (digital and print ads) and graphic formats (.pdf, .jpg, .gif, .png and more)
Prefer experience with website updating using Word Press or similar platform.
Experience with Social Media posting.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Detail oriented and ability to work in a small staff, fast-paced environment.
