The objective of the program is to reinvent customer experience by leveraging the scale of customer interactions cross business lines. To achieve this, one needs to build relevance through data-driven journey management by supporting a new customer interaction models. My client works towards utilizing data as fundament for proactive, relevant and seamless customer interactions cross- touchpoints.
Your purpose is to provide a business data and information model and underlying data and information architecture for Marketing Automation that meets business needs, in line with bank-wide data management and architecture existing and upcoming standards and policies.
In short, your job and responsibilities as Information Architect will be to:
Own and develop a fit-for-purpose data and information vision and roadmap for Marketing Automation.
Develop and oversee the documentation of conceptual, business and logical data models to support data and analytics endeavors.
Work with IT, business data modellers, BI and Data Science teams to understand business data consumers' needs and develop data and information products.
Create and maintain data and information architectures. Leverage the capabilities of vendors and sourcing suppliers to define the data and information architectures.
Present data and information architectural blueprints/roadmaps to the relevant architectural governance committees, to obtain timely approval avoiding delay or project risk.
Ensure the data and information architecture allows seamless flow of data and information cross business lines.
Define and communicate a data and information architecture that balances the needs of Marketing Automation and the business line(s) aligned with bank-wide standards and policies.
Determine and align to overall data modeling standards, guidelines, best practices, and approved modeling techniques and approaches.
Supervise the business data modeling staff.
Oversee end-to-end data life cycle management activities for Marketing Automation.
Support the functional business leaders to build, lead, develop, appraise, and motivate multi-disciplinary teams (tribe structure) capable of satisfying the accountabilities described above.

Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Computer Science, Engineering or related field), Master's degree in a similar program and 10+ years of information management and architecture experience.
Familiarity with advanced data and information management practices, data modeling and data analysis.
Deep understanding of the principles and practice of data and information architecture.
Familiarity with advanced modeling approaches, tools, and model repositories.
Possesses interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation skills and experience.
Ability to maintain a sufficiently deep knowledge of business areas and technology to provide architectural leadership and direction for Marketing Automation.
Ability to win the trust, confidence, and commitment of senior business and IT stakeholders and to lead their thinking.
Ability to communicate resource demand to meet the delivery commitments of Marketing Automation cross business lines.
Ability to pragmatically balance the demands of delivery projects with the need to maintain the integrity of the target data and information architecture.
Ability to effectively balance strategy and vision activity with the operational and service demand, building collaborative relationships with stakeholders and diverse, cross-functional teams/organizations to define requirements, scope and delivery timeframes, driving on-time execution.
Expected to carry out core accountabilities with minimal level of supervision for complex tasks and no supervision for more routine matters.
Ability to relate architectural decisions and recommendations to business needs.
Ability to regularly learn and adopt new technology.
Experience developing reference data and information architectures, principles and standards.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate across all levels of the organisation and work with diverse project teams.
Retail, Banking and/ or e-Commerce experience.
Cloud data platforms, ideally Microsoft Azure (ML, AI, ETL) experience.
Enterprise data models and data governance.
Master data management, metadata management and data quality practices.
Information Lifecycle Management, archive, records management.
