The Manager, Marekting Communications is part of the Content & Client Engagement team, and will translate business strategies into key messages, develop marketing communication initiatives in support of those strategies, and execute as well as drive programmatic deployment that creates excitement, drives engagement, aligns teams and shapes culture. This organized and proactive individual will partner closely with internal and external business partners to foster awareness and sustain engagement throughout the organization and with our Field partners by broadcasting the execution of updates to marketing assets and deployment of campaigns that promote our strengths and values.
Responsibilities:
- With a client-centric focus, gather information to synthesize and distill key messages to executive audiences, and cascade to business partners and key stakeholders.
- Develop and implement effective marketing communication strategies that build customer loyalty, brand awareness, and client satisfaction - internally & externally - with a detailed understanding of project's objectives, value, and priorities.
- Writes and edits impactful and engaging content that effectively delivers for marketing and various stakeholders, audiences, and channels, ensuring a consistent brand voice, messaging, and business objectives.
- Ensures marketing communication messaging and materials are high quality, accurate, appropriate and integrated with Firm priorities and themes.
- Support as needed messaging for significant Marketing CoE announcements and other related materials and status reporting.
- Communicates with Marketing CoE, business partners/stakeholders, SMEs, and vendors to plan and align content and manage an integrated Marketing Communications Calendar.
- Track and analyze metrics related to content performance and engagement to guide effective sharing and define future marketing communication strategy and development efforts.
Qualifications
Skills required to ensure success include:
Communicating Complex Concepts: Knowledge of effective presentation tools and techniques to ensure clear understanding; ability to use summarization and simplification techniques to explain complex technical concepts in simple, clear language appropriate to the audience.
Copywriting and Editing: Knowledge of copywriting and editing; ability to write, review and edit texts and documents to promote marketing.
Creativity: Knowledge of the approaches, tools, and techniques for promoting creative, original thinking and ability to apply it to a variety of business situations.
Marketing Strategy and Positioning: Knowledge of market research, segmentation, and channels; ability to use business models to develop and implement marketing strategies, objectives, and tactics as well as establishing a communications plan.
Marketing Systems: Knowledge of components and functionality of marketing systems; ability to utilize an organization's marketing information systems in various business circumstances.
Project Management: Knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives.

Additional Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Communication or Journalism
- MBA preferred
- 3+ years of experience in marketing communications
- Proven ability to execute marketing communication plans
- Strong listening and writing skills, and a natural capability to think strategically while delivering tactical results
- Understanding of or experience working within a regulatory and compliance framework is a plus
- Financial Services industry experience is a plus
