IGT California is searching for a Marketing Specialist III, based in our Sacramento, CA office. This is a customer-facing position, responsible for marketing and project management functions to support the monthly delivery of multiple player-facing multimedia shows. This person will serve as a liaison between the Lottery customer and internal Marketing, Operations, and Technology teams. This person will be responsible for the creation of monthly spec documents and delivery of marketing assets to ensure an on-time delivery for multiple monthly shows. This position requires a person with excellent organizational, communication, and decision-making skills. This person will be required to operate in various situations with a high level of customer visibility and maintain a positive company image.
o Works directly with the Lottery to ensure streamlined, on-time delivery of multiple multimedia shows, including electronic Point of Sale (ePOS), attract screens for player self-service terminals, and Scratchers Digital Menu Boards. o Creates monthly content specification documents for each show. o Secures Lottery approval of final specification documents and assets. o Works directly with the customer to gather creative assets for monthly delivery of multiple shows. o Coordinates with internal graphic design team to facilitate edits and customer approvals. o Gathers and transfers creative asset files to internal Technology team to build and test shows. o Troubleshoots issues or concerns identified by the customer and works with internal teams to help resolve them. o Coordinates with internal Technology and Operations teams to answer Lottery questions pertaining to hardware, software and communications /network. o Creates and updates procedures, checklists, or processes as needed for the successful delivery of content. o Manages and updates Electronic Point of Sale (ePOS) calendars and schedules as it relates to lottery promotions, sales, and initiatives. o Works with internal IGT marketing and technology resources to develop timelines and implementation schedules o Collaborates with graphic design team in the planning and development of future releases. o Serves as a liaison between IGT technology and marketing teams and lottery officials. o Provides recommendations on ways to enhance the user experience at Lottery Self Service Terminals. o Gives recommendations and updates on terminal and broadcast enhancements based off research and market analysis of other Lottery Jurisdictions o Assists in the development of and delivers customer presentations o Maintains open communications with the lottery o Participates in regularly scheduled lottery and product meetings o Assists with other duties as assigned; serves as a backup to other site positions
* Bachelor's degree required * Minimum 5 years' work experience, 2 years' related work experience * Project management/traffic experience * Experience with digital image and video file formats and transfers * Working knowledge of FTPs and on-line file sharing programs * Basic skills in Adobe Creative Suite * MS Office * Excellent writing, communication, organizational, and decision-making skills * Proven customer relationship management experience with Senior level managers * Demonstrates effective listening, questioning, and interpersonal skills when interacting with peers, management, customers, etc. * Commitment to providing high-quality services and programs in a timely manner * Process driven * Adaptable self-starter and self-managed * Ability to multi-task and interpret some ambiguity and work under tight deadlines
