JOB SUMMARY:
The CRM Marketing Manager APAC is responsible for identifying, developing and implementing strategic marketing programs in the Asia Pacific Region that drive business objectives. Key markets will include Japan, China, Taiwan, Korea, India, Hong Kong and SEA and ANZ. The Regional CRM Marketing Manager will work in close collaboration with the other Regional CRM Marketing Managers as well as a diverse group of in-country sales and marketing stakeholders, in analyzing market opportunities, tailoring programs from inception to execution, and monitoring the effectiveness of programs. The CRM Marketing Manager APAC is a vital contributor to the future growth of the CRM franchise in Asia Pacific.
Responsibilities
The CRM Marketing Manager APAC will work closely with Country leadership as a key contributor to building of the strategic vision of CRM in APAC region with a focus on core markets of Japan, China, ANZ, Korea and developing markets in South East Asia and India. The primary objective for this role is to bring additional strategic leadership to the CRM franchise in Asia Pacific; ensuring tailored programs are in place for key markets that leverage the full breadth and depth of the Abbott CRM portfolio. Other key responsibilities include:
- Develops marketing and customer programs to support implementation of key APAC CRM strategies across the region to achieve operating plan objective and long-term vision objectives.
- Manages CRM product launches to reflect marketing plan, strategies and tactics (price, positioning, promotion, education etc.).
- Works with the Abbott Global Marketing counterparts to implement marketing strategies and tactics and specific materials to support local Asia Pacific markets.
- Uphold highest margin and profitability standards, providing strategic decision support in designing, supporting and assessing go-to-market strategies. Works in partnership with the other CRM Marketing Managers and with country sales and marketing leadership.
- Works in partnership to capitalize on synergies across the wider Abbott CRM Portfolio.
- Conduit to actively observe, research, and review market segments, customer requirements and competitor dynamics. Aggregates and synthesizes field input to support marketing and sales strategy development.
- Identifies business growth opportunities and unmet customer requirements and provides vision and focus to move ideas to market place.
- Works with regional operations teams to provide input on forecast to enable future strategic product launches, phase in/out plans.
- Participates in physician review panels to provide effective customer feedback on product plans and marketing strategies.
Measurement
This position will be measured on their ability to drive the CRM business growth in the region through identifying, designing, developing and tailoring strategic marketing programs that impact the business in a meaningful way and drive the region towards both its operating plan objectives and long-term objectives.
- Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Plan achievements in revenue and operating profit for CRM franchise
- Quality & success of product launch - execution effectiveness as well as meeting the set objectives
- Market share leadership for all key products
Professional Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications
- 5-10 years of experience in multi-national pharmaceutical, healthcare or medical devices companies, in the field of product management.
- Result-oriented, creative and resourceful.
- Highly strategic and analytical, and strong problem solver
- Good organizational skills and able to perform multi tasks.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to inspire people.
- Experience in working in cross functional teams
- Fluent in written and spoken English; Chinese (Mandarin) will be an advantage.
- No less than 50% traveling time
- Able to adapt travelling and accommodation conditions in developing countries
OTHER FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Handle and process customer complaints in timely manner and according to Abbott Asia Pacific's policy and requirement
- Execute the job responsibilities according to applicable standard operating procedures of Abbott Asia Pacific and Abbott Singapore
- Ensure applicable standard operating procedures of Abbott Asia Pacific, Abbott Singapore, and Abbott Hong Kong are executed
