Our location in Santa Clara, CA currently has an opportunity for an Product Manager - US Marketing, Endovascular to work onsite in our Santa Clara Headquarters office. The Product Manager will be responsible for setting the US strategic direction and tactical implementation of activities that will lead to a customer-centric and goal achievement culture, focusing on optimizing customer satisfaction and economic profit for their particular product line.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Understand the trends in Peripheral Vascular Market and identify key growth drivers
Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of customer needs and industry dynamics to assigned product(s) / project(s).
Understand relative priorities for the development of new products and product enhancements by defining customer needs and working with internal customers.
Understand strategic and financial implications of project(s) / product(s) on the overall budget.
Develop recommendations for capturing growth potential for the prioritized projects.
Develop sales, tactical and marketing plans to execute on chosen projects
Work with key stakeholders to implement plans.
Assess success of implementation and identify transition plans to appropriate teams.
Travel up to 20% of the time primarily domestically by any means necessary to support organizational goals.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING
Required
Bachelor's Degree with at least 3 years of related work experience with a complete understanding of specified functional area.
Minimum 3 years healthcare experience with a minimum of 2 yeas Marketing experience or an MBA with 3 years of related experience.
Preferred
Medical Device Marketing experience
Product Launch Experience
Previous experience in management consulting, sales, Medical Devices or a related health care industry is preferred.
Understanding of the technology and capabilities of the Division's products;
Understanding of market and customer dynamics
Understanding of sales processes; - knowledge of regulations and standards affecting medical devices/diagnostics
Ability to work independently and in groups; cross-functionally; -to apply analytical thinking, problem-solving skills and critical-thinking skills.
Ability to clearly, concisely and accurately convey communications, whether verbal, written or in presentations
Ability and aptitude to use various types of databases and other computer software
Ability to form and develop interpersonal, professional relationships; display socially and professionally appropriate behavior.
