Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Marketing Manager for the The Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology (GSAPP) to promote the school's brand and services. In this role, the incumbent will optimize the school's marketing strategies, managing the marketing department's budget and staff, as well as preparing forecasts.
Among the key duties of this position are:
Manages all marketing needs that include digital marketing, web, and social media content management and advertising strategy.
Employs Google analytics within strategy creation.
Works with the Associate Dean to develop leads for new programs, identify new growth opportunities, develop marketing collateral and programs to engage donors and build public awareness of GSAPP.
Minimum Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
A minimum of 5 years' experience as a marketing manager creating digital campaigns.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Experience and knowledge with Digital Marketing, Email Marketing, and design of professional PowerPoint documents.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
Experience with development of Journey Maps.
Extensive knowledge of marketing strategies, channels, branding, and the ability to identify new areas.
Superb leadership, communication, and collaboration abilities.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong time management and organizational abilities.
An outstanding marketing manager will be someone whose expertise translates into increased brand awareness and profitability.
A master's degree in a relevant field.
Microsoft Office software (including PowerPoint), Keynote, Hootsuite, Google Analytics, Google Adwords, Social Media Marketing.
This position may be required work during early morning, evening, weekend and holiday hours.
Position may be required to work from home or other off-site locations.
