Seeking veterinary assistant with social media posting interest/experience to work in all-bird/exotic pet hospital. Must be outgoing, detail-oriented team player with great communication skills and an interest in helping out with hospital's online social media presence. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: assisting licensed veterinary technicians/veterinarians, processing lab work, feeding animals, cleaning tanks/cages, preparing for hospitalized patients/boarding pets, setting up for surgery, restocking/cleaning exam rooms, and working with hospital manager to write social media marketing content. Flexible schedule, weekend availability a must. Who wouldn't love to work with cool species and post on social media about it!

Full service all bird/exotic animal practice in Bedford Hills, NY owned by board-certified avian veterinarian who works only with birds and other exotic pets such as ferrets, rabbits, reptiles, guinea pigs, chinchillas, smaller rodents (rats, mice, hamsters, gerbils, degus), sugar gliders, pot-bellied pigs, and hedgehogs. Complete medical and surgical care plus boarding for birds and exotic pets. Four veterinarian practice, with support from hospital manager, 3 veterinary technicians, 2 veterinary assistants, and 2 receptionists. Open Monday-Saturday.
