MARKETING CENTER OF EXCELLENCE

RESPONSIBILITIES
We are seeking a results-oriented and creative Marketing manager to join the Group Retirement Marketing Team. This person will lead marketing strategies for the Enterprise Solutions team leading cross channel marketing programs to support growing the 401k business for the organization.
This position works closely with data and analytics, campaign management and LOB marketers to build comprehensive marketing plans to support the ES business OKRs. S/he will leverage deep marketing experience and strong relationship management skills to partner closely with the ES LOB partners.
- Utilize marketing knowledge to actively contribute to the planning process by building innovative ideas that support Equitable's brand and business objectives.
- Work with the Marketing COE partnership to develop comprehensive marketing plans in support of the business including Data & Analytics, research, brand, digital, creative and customer experience.
- Build strong partnerships with other areas to ensure implementation of programs are flawless (e.g. compliance, legal, IT)
- Use agile process to strategize, develop, implement, and measure marketing programs to enhance the inforce and prospect experience.
- Manage multiple marketing campaigns as well as present marketing plans to the LOB for feedback and integration into the business plans
- Develops marketing program requirements including detailed data requirements, test plan, segmentation, business rules, and milestones
- Provides direction to internal agency partners to steward high-performing campaigns and deliverables
- Understands components of the marketing mix and provides end-to-end program management
- Recommend and implement new ideas and innovations to improve each marketing strategy
Qualifications
Skills required to ensure your success include:
- Business Acumen: Knowledge of business concepts, tools, and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's business; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
- Channel Marketing: Knowledge of various channel marketing strategies and solutions used to carry out a marketing plan; ability to promote a financial services organization's brand, products, and services through multiple and diverse avenues.
- Channel Expertise: Understanding the full suite of marketing channels in order to build integrated, multi-channel campaign strategies.
- Data & Analytics: Knowledge of insights & analytics; ability to work with data teams to build comprehensive measurement plans including focus on test and learn capabilities.
- Diversity, Equity and Inclusion: Demonstrates a commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion by treating everyone with respect and dignity, ensuring all voices are heard and advocating for change.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
- 7+ years product marketing experience, acting independently or as mid-level manager, leading marketing or sales efforts of financial products (such as variable annuities, life insurance, mutual funds or other investment offerings)
- Experience in managing multiple deliverables and stakeholders
- Financial services experience preferred
- 401k experience preferred
- Marketing agency candidates strongly encouraged
- Experience managing tools including Workfront
- Flexible/Adaptable - ability to work effectively in a variety of situations and respond to change in a positive manner
- Strong project management skills; Strong ability to multitask and operate across multiple projects
- Strong collaborator, excellent written and communication skills and proven experience managing projects
- Readiness to "roll up the sleeves" and to go outside comfort zone to learn
- Creative problem solver
