Innovative Systems/FinScan®, a worldwide leader of hi-tech on-premise and SaaS data management and compliance solutions and services is looking for a high achieving and intellectually curious Product Marketing Associate to help drive overall revenue and go-to-market strategy for Innovative’s products and services.

Your research and competitive analysis expertise will provide market data and understanding to assist the Senior Product Marketing Manager to strategically drive customer awareness and adoption of our products and solutions. The successful candidate will partner with a broad range of stakeholders within product management, marketing, sales, customer success and training teams across the US, EMEA, LATAM and APAC by creating high-impact assets that drive business growth and ensure our products are differentiated and lead our target markets.
What you will be doing
Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Develop and execute Innovative’s go-to-market strategy through market research and ongoing analysis of the global regulatory environment and competitive landscape.
Identify and lead the necessary research - including quantitative and qualitative, primary and secondary research - required to gain market insights and conduct market assessments.
Attend tradeshows, interview prospects, work closely with our User Advisory Group, and be the voice of the customer (VOC)
Discover impactful insights, delivering thoughtful and compelling recommendations based on your market research and analysis to influence business decisions and maximize business value
Present findings and obtain agreement for implementation from the executive management team
Recruit and train product marketing team to execute agreed upon outbound product marketing programs, spearheading overall launch strategies in partnership with product management and communications team
Develop messaging and positioning strategies for new products
Advise Product Development and Engineering about desired / needed new features, functions, and existing products’ benefits based on the research.
Work cross-functionally with Product Management, UX, Sales, Account Management, Marcom, Professional Services, and other departments to assess, prioritize and execute market initiatives
Utilize your research and understanding of clients’ needs and the competitive environment to Identify new business opportunities, innovation initiatives, and help determine what new space to enter.
Work with Partners Manager to identify strategic OEM/ Reseller partnership opportunities with leading technology players by analyzing market and determining the feasibility of integration.
Proactively identifying opportunities to accelerate growth and innovation, and delivering against specific opportunities through partnerships
Assist our Partners team to identify and explore strategic partnerships that will enhance our existing capabilities or enable new products/services.
Develop business cases for new solutions or technologies and articulate enterprise capability needs
Track, measure and analyze key performance indicators of sales and marketing to see how our marketing programs affect sales.
Coordinate conduct of Win/Loss Analysis to devise recommendations that result in revenue growth
Train the sales and marketing team to analyze Innovative’s revenue trends and develop reports to monitor company revenue growth and appropriate action plans
Proactively manage analyst ratings, and secure positive placement of our offerings within key analyst reports.
Drive analyst awareness of our offerings to significantly expand their understanding of our unique approach to data management and risk/compliance
Write presentations and prepare reports for engaging with analysts
Work closely with analysts to identify the market trends and our positions and differentiation within the market
BS in Engineering (preferred)/ a Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or market research.
MBA from a leading university (preferred)
2+ years of proven experience and enthusiasm as a Product Marketer, or similar role
Experience researching and formulating strategy to execute tactics to meet plans
B2B SaaS or software experience (Enterprise is a plus)
Self-starter with superb written and verbal communication skills and strong analytical skills
Proven leadership ability with strong interpersonal skills
Curiosity about the stimuli that stimulates buyer behavior.
Attention to detail, ability to learn quickly and deliver results
Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues and cross-functional teams, and third parties
Results-oriented and resourceful, with a strong work ethic and willingness to go the extra mile
