Under supervision of the Executive Director, the Marketing Manager is responsible for creating, managing, and promoting ISEE’s brand by managing and directing the marketing strategies and timelines for ISEE’s programs, events, and membership outreach efforts.
This position is responsible for contributing to the strategic plan by developing, implementing, and managing integrated marketing campaigns for the society and its business lines. Moreover, the Marketing Manager executes marketing communications for membership campaigns to prospective, existing, and lapsed members of the society.
Develop and execute an integrated marketing communication strategy for the programs, products, and services offered by the society.
Design and manage ISEE’s professional image including logo design and identity pieces.
Create and execute a society-wide integrated marketing communications strategy.
Develop and manage the strategy and messaging related to ISEE’s social media, website, e-mail, and direct mail channels including oversight of ISEE’s new website.
Create campaigns to promote ISEE’s programs, products, and services and track their success.
Create and manage ISEE’s internal and external calendar of events including ISEE programs, professional and student chapter events, partner events, to eliminate overlap and competition.
Assess current messaging, materials, and channels to reach our existing and potential members.
Create the messaging communicating ISEE’s value proposition to its members and stakeholders.
Harness committee knowledge to develop ISEE’s unique value proposition.
Create content for ISEE’s website and social media channels.
Staff liaison to ISEE Committees.
Responsible for other duties as assigned.
5 years marketing and/or social medial experience preferably in a professional, trade, or similar association.
Experience developing and implementing marketing plans.
Able to create messaging and content directed to a variety of audiences.
Action-oriented, able to meet deadlines.
History of turning out creative solutions that strengthen an organizations image.
Able to connect organizational strategy to program deliverables.
Enjoys solving challenges and identifying solutions.
Ability to lead committee meetings and help committees define and meet annual goals.
Must be able to work with Microsoft Office, Zoom and other applications. Able to quickly learn iMIS, Aventri, Joomla, PropFuel, Mail Chimp, and other technology products.
Strong relationship builder with internal and external partners.
This position reports directly to the Executive Director and collaborates closely with volunteers and staff to ensure the success of the overall association.
This is a remote position. The organization plans on quarterly In-person staff meetings (2-day duration each quarter) at the physical ISEE location. Additional travel includes attending the ISEE Annual Conference (up to 9 days), Board of Directors Strategic Planning Retreat (2 days), ISEE Chapter Meetings (10-14 days), and prepping the shipment for the Annual Meeting (5 days). Travel costs associated with these occasions are reimbursed by ISEE.
