The University of Alabama is accepting applications from qualified individuals for the position of Associate Athletics Director, Strategic Marketing.

The Associate Athletics Director, Strategic Marketing will be responsible for oversight of the Marketing, Promotions and Trademark Licensing department within Alabama Athletics. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, development and execution of marketing plans and management of budgets as well as coordination of creative, promotional and brand campaigns for the athletics department. The selected individual will also provide guidance and direction to the department’s planning for brand management, customer and licensee service, revenue generation, and growth of the department and serve as administrative oversight for department spirit groups including Crimson Cabaret, Cheerleading, the Million Dollar Band and Athletics Pep Band through planning and management for event performance, daily operations and budgeting.

Required Qualifications Include: Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 7 years of relevant work experience; OR a Master's degree in a related field and at least 5 years of relevant work experience.  Must have valid U.S. driver's license.
