The Programs Coordinator (“PC”) will have the opportunity to join a dynamic remote team. The PC will report to the Director of Programs and will work closely with BAAA’s Executive Director and other staff. The PC will have day-to-day administrative duties and will be primarily responsible for supporting staff in the following ways, though will have opportunities for growth in other areas:
Support the Director of Programs and other staff with program coordination duties related to event and education logistics and other operations functions;
Manage scheduling, and production of meeting materials and presentations;
Assist with processing payments and reimbursements, including working with the Director of Programs to ensure all necessary information and receipts are submitted in a timely fashion;
Assist with communications functions, including tasks related to various media releases, social media and other communications tools;
Coordinate various meetings and video/conference calls; take notes/minutes of calls and meetings as needed;
Assist with budgeting and financial reporting; and
Other clerical, administrative, technical & office support duties as assigned.
Associates/Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
2+ years of program support experience preferred
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, G-Suite experience a plus.
Bilingual candidates preferred
Must be able to sit at a computer for extended periods of time. Some travel required. The position requires extensive computer and telephone time/usage. Light lifting up to 20 pounds may be needed.
Must be based in the greater Tampa Bay area and able to commute to the University/Tampa Palms area as needed for programming. Position requires a high productivity level in a remote work environment. The ideal candidate will be self-driven and have the ability to work autonomously.
