The Marketing Communications Manager will provide lead support to the planning, development, delivery and evaluation of the health campaigns, health communications and marketing initiatives of University Health Services. Reporting to the Director of PR & Marketing, this position will develop effective evidence-based health communication campaigns; manage and curate social media accounts according to a strategic plan; manage effective internal communication messages and strategies within UHS and across campus; collaborate with campus partners to insure that messages are focused on enhancing health equity and inclusiveness with a focus on health education and service line promotion through traditional and modern marketing tactics.
Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree and 1 year professional experience related to the development and dissemination of informational material, or Bachelor’s degree in public relations, journalism, marketing, or mass communications and 3 years related experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in public relations, journalism, marketing, or communications. Five (5) years of professional experience in a marketing or public relations role. Experience with web content management and graphic design experience is a plus. Healthcare experience is a plus. Grant writing experience is a plus.
