The Executive Director, of Content Marketing, leads a robust team of direct and indirect reports and oversees all marketing content across multiple platforms and formats to drive revenue, engagement, and reputation. Reporting directly to the CMO, this role is charged with supporting the overarching university and marketing strategy via content and programs that engage broad audiences, including prospective students, parents, alumni, donors, faculty, staff, and state officials. This individual is a proven expert in all things related to content and channel optimization, brand consistency, segmentation and localization, analytics, and meaningful measurement.This position collaborates with a broad cross-functional group, as well as agency partners to help leverage the brand story within content creation and channel placement and analytics. This role blends the art of marketing writing with the science of audience and channel understanding. And the success of this group is measured by the continual improvement of metrics related to audience nurturing, engagement, and conversion.
