The Senior Integrated Marketing Director, Advancement is the University's senior advancement marketing and communications leader. The incumbent will create, lead, and direct a comprehensive content and multi-platform communications strategy and direct marketing plan that supports Advancement priorities and objectives. They will serve as a senior leader, strategist, and partner with Advancementâs Vice President and Senior Leadership Team and ensure integration and alignment both among Advancement units and in collaboration with University Marketing and Communicationsâ goals, policies, and protocols.The incumbent will inspire creativity, collaboration, and positivity with key constituencies and ensure the highest standard of marketing and communications outcomes that support the University's philanthropic activities and engagement efforts. They will oversee internal and external communications for the division with the goal of enhancing and optimizing Advancementâs visibility and reinforcing its mission and strategic priorities. As an integral members of the Advancement and Marketing teams, they will develop and promote comprehensive communication and marketing strategies for Advancement and ensure the groundwork is laid for a successful comprehensive campaign.The position reports to the Assistant Vice President, Integrated Marketing with a dotted line to the Vice President of Advancement.
The successful candidate will be a visionary strategic marketer and a skilled and experienced persuasive communicator who is able to translate complex information for UNH constituent audiences into actionable outcomes. This individual should be a responsive, positive and amiable collaborator, who is capable of working across a complex, matrixed organization and with varying levels of the hierarchy. Applicants should be experienced in creating thorough marketing plans for broad target audiences and familiar with brand/identity development, integrated MarCom programs, digital communications and effective design.Masterâs degree strongly preferred, ideally an MBA with a focus in marketing.7+ years leading marketing and /or branding in a complex, dynamic organization.Mastery of integrated marketing strategies and tactics across print, digital and broadcast marketing and communication channels. Familiarity with CRM and email marketing.Ability to work with multiple internal and agency partners effectively. Strong interpersonal skills and adept at leading and motivating others. A can-do attitude and the enthusiasm and gravitas to develop followership toward vision and execution.Demonstrated experience developing, socializing and executing a marketing strategy.
