KCU is seeking an experienced full-time Marketing Coordinator as an integral member of the University Relations team. The Marketing Coordinator will draft reports, create or coordinate content, track results, build relationships with University Relations team, and otherwise support all marketing strategies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordinate and implements marketing communication projects
Assist in organizing marketing campaigns and university events
Participate in creating brand awareness through advertising and social media
Arrange proposals and presentations using marketing resource materials such as brochures, data, slides, photographs, and reports
Prepare status reports on marketing efforts by communicating with appropriate sales and marketing managers
May liaise with the media, advertising agencies and public relations firms
Assist in the development of marketing strategies in accordance with established Core Values and expectations
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business or other related area preferred
Previous marketing related experience preferred
Proficient verbal and written communication skills
Ability to complete projects of little complexity within support role
Resourceful, can-do attitude that thrives in a fast-paced team environment
Exceptional organizational skills and demonstrated success in a multi-task environment with attention to detail and follow through
