What We Need:
This position will lead our integrated marketing strategy including campaign production and execution of member-facing communications. Seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented individual with strong communication skills to manage email marketing, advertising, direct mail, and the Society’s exhibitions as well as support product and service development for non-dues revenue generation. The candidate is a team player, and creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills who will collaborate across multiple departments to achieve organizational goals.
What You’ll Do:
Responsible for the creation, execution and analysis of comprehensive marketing plans for program and service promotion resulting in increased sales and/or engagement.
Collaborate with internal departments to create proactive marketing plans for Society programs utilizing strong project management skills to drive timely and successful goal achievement.
Manages email marketing communications by developing content, scheduling and analyzing results to support recommendations for improved deliverability and data hygiene.
Compiles and analyzes market research to create reporting to define KPIs, metrics and trend data to support recommendations for continuous marketing communications improvement and member engagement efforts.
Oversees all aspects of the Society’s Annual Meeting booth and all organization exhibitions.
Responsible for the research, recommendations, development, product launch marketing plans and implementation of new products, services and revenue-generating programs to obtain target objectives.
Build and maintain partner vendor relationships to expand product offerings and manage partnership agreements to ensure successful member experience and revenue growth for non-dues revenue.
Manages the website marketplace and aligned product content.
Manages the Society’s and affiliated journal partners’ monthly advertising placements for the Society’s peer-reviewed medical journal.
Responsible for reviewing, tracking and budgeting in areas of responsibility.
Travels out of town with overnight stays when required.
What You Have:
Degree in Marketing, Communications, or another related discipline.
Minimum of five years of marketing experience, preferably in a membership association.
Excellent verbal, and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and efficiently under tight deadlines.
Proficient in budgeting and project management.
Strong computer and technology skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office software, email platform (MailChimp preferred) and a solid understanding of social media and website platforms.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Ability to work independently and take the initiative to anticipate and resolve problems.
Solid production, project management, organizational and analytical skills.
Strong customer service skills and ability to collaborate with co-workers and members.
This is a manager-level position within the organization and the salary range is commensurate with five+ years of marketing and communications experience. This is an exempt position.
