Assists in the research, planning and implementation of marketing and media initiatives, including advertising, marketing and special events.
Conducts market research and benchmarking, recommending strategies, promotional material, vendors and communication methods that will best serve the needs and interests of the program.
Develops and distributes promotional materials. Oversees inventory of marketing materials and re-orders supplies as needed.
Coordinates UH events and activities to engage prospective students.
Appropriately manages time and budget to meet project goals by deadline.
May represent the college or division at professional conferences, trade shows, meetings, etc.
May travel in the U.S. as necessary, for marketing purposes.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Bachelors and 1 year experience
Requires a thorough understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of an analytical, technical or professional discipline; or the basic knowledge of more than one professional discipline. Knowledge of the discipline is normally obtained through a formal, directly job-related 4 year degree from a college or university or an equivalent in-depth specialized training program that is directly related to the type of work being performed.
