Job Description Boston University's Video Production department produces video programs for many high-visibility projects at the university. We're looking for a detail-oriented person with business operations experience and familiarity with a video production environment to join our team.
This position reports to the Executive Director of Boston University Productions and has a broad scope of duties which include both administrative, operational, and video production functions and responsibilities. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, organizing, and coordinating the daily operational activities of BU Productions and a focus area in the pre-production and post-production phases of project work. If you have superior organizational and communication skills, have knowledge and experience in the video production industry, enjoy working alongside a busy, professional production team, and have the ability to juggle multiple assignments at one time, we want to hear from you!

Required Skills
B.A./B.S. in communications-related field, business/operations or equivalent with 3-5 years of experience in a production environment preferred.
Familiarity with programs such as Word, Excel, and FileMaker.
Knowledge of the video production industry and pre-production, production, and post-production.
Experience with the basics of non-linear edit systems, Photoshop, PowerPoint, and video encoding is important.
