This position will be responsible for creating, editing, updating, improving and maintaining high quality web content as well as maintain the social media presence of the Student Center. Information can be placed across different web pages and digital properties in the context of Marketing and Communications objectives, guidelines, and priorities. Working with the Executive Director, this position will establish and maintain a workflow for content creation following University's web content guidelines (i.e. style guide, photo specs, etc.) that is high quality and consistent across the site as well as maintain and archive in adherence to the University's web editorial standards. Additionally, the position will work with Student Center staff to facilitate marketing content ideas, creation, review and updates, and to promote content idea-sharing and application for social media presence.
This position will also be responsible:
For use CMS to upload content changes made by and ensure they are reviewing and updating content on a regular basis.
Secure professional photo, video and other services as needed to support content creation
Review and respond to ongoing content requests with detailed plan of action, including responsibilities and deadlines, as part of established workflow.
Oversee project management of content for website, online marketing initiatives and other related web properties.
Coordinate and maintain the web content calendar for key web properties in terms of updating, maintaining and refreshing content.
Develop brochures, flyers, public service announcements, etc. for program events, (i.e. Lyceum)
Work directly with subject matter experts to create original web-ready copy while proactively seeking content updates.
Plan, research, write, edit and proofread content of the websites by consistently reviewing content, identifying sections that need a greater depth of material and removing outdated material.

The Student Center provides services and promote programs that is responsive to students' developmental, physical, social, recreational and educational needs. The Student Center offers an array of services, programs, meeting & banquet, dining, and lounge spaces.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a discipline related to the area of assignment; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in English, information technology, business, or graphic design or a related field with 3-5 years of experience in web page management, graphic design and social media over site.
