Reporting to the Associate Director of Program Marketing, the Marketing Specialist is part of a team that directs the strategic development and execution of marketing plans for a portfolio of executive education programs, with the goal of driving qualified applications.
This position assists in the execution of marketing campaigns for the Topic-Focused Program portfolio, utilizing targeted email, digital advertising, social media, brochures, and web marketing.
The position requires close collaboration with program directors, internal marketing team members, external writers, designers, and other vendors, as well as with HBS faculty and Executive Education staff.
Position Description
Project management and quality assurance of a wide array of marketing materials, including digital advertising, social media content, email campaigns, collateral, web content, brochures, and more.
Establish strong, collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams, including program directors, digital marketing, marketing technology, web marketing, program advising, data analytics, sales, admissions, finance, and program delivery.
Manage projects and liaise with outside writers, designers, and other vendors to deliver high quality content and materials.
Work closely with in-house digital team to coordinate advertising plans; including conducting analysis of past campaigns, ad creation, segmenting and targeting of digital campaigns.
Work closely with the in-house marketing technology team to coordinate program email campaigns; including content development, segmentation, testing, and review.
Work with the in-house social media team to develop appropriate messaging for program-specific social posts and campaigns, monitor results of social campaigns, and optimize accordingly.
Support development of content calendars and ensure associated projects meet internal deadlines.
Support management of Marketing & Sales budget including expense tracking and invoice processing.

Basic Qualifications
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent is required
5+ years of experience in customer service-oriented, marketing, communications, and/or administrative support role(s) is required
Education beyond high school may count toward experience
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) experience is a must.

Additional Information
This role is offered as a hybrid (some combination of onsite and remote) where you are required to be onsite at our Boston, MA based campus 2-3 days per week. Specific days and schedule will be determined between you and your manager.
