Provide oversight, guidance, and strategic direction for TXCPA’s. To help develop and engage a diverse student population and grow the interest with engagement of student’s career in accounting.  Work with Texas high schools to enhance pre-college students' awareness of accounting. Establish connections with Texas's approved schools and institutions to collaborate on presentations and programs aimed at drawing students into the accounting field. Encourage the development of materials for candidates and students. Keeps informed of new and developing trends in academic relations, diversity, equity, and inclusion, and advises employees on how to make the most of them to achieve goals.
