Develops and implements Oregon Trail Electric Cooperative (OTEC)’s marketing efforts to promote the services, programs, and brand of the Cooperative. Establishes strategies to enhance, create and fosters relationships with members, businesses, and community partners to increase service levels and overall member satisfaction, loyalty, and engagement.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Proficient in Microsoft Office Products, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe InDesign is preferred.
Ability to meet aggressive timetables for multiple projects while maintaining excellent attention to detail.

Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and implement aligned marketing strategies, programs, and campaigns to advance the cooperative strategic objectives and meet its stated vision.
Develop strategies to highlight to our member/owners OTEC’s objectives that drive focus, understanding and awareness of employee and public safety.
Position OTEC as a trusted community partner that is engaged and relevant.
Establish marketing strategies and programs to highlight the benefits of cooperative membership.
Support OTEC’s website and social media accounts. Working with communications, design, implement, and manage social media campaigns.
Develop and foster member relationships. Represent OTEC at community and business events and meetings to further cooperative brand and understanding of the cooperative’s programs and services.
Administer charitable contribution program.
Establish and maintain OTEC logo, brand, and co-brand integrity and programs.
Utilize market research methodologies to identify member expectations, position messaging and effectively reach target markets. Responsible for the coordination of internal and external surveys, performs data analysis and creates reports as required.
Create marketing materials for implementation of new programs, products, and services.
Work closely with Member Services on delivery and measuring effectiveness.
Provide support for communications activities and materials.
Assist with preparation of the cooperative’s annual meeting including marketing and promotion, annual report creation and printing.
Manage marketing budget and resources while levering effective approaches to maximize return on investment.
Ensure Cooperative network and association resources are maximized, leveraged and aligned as applicable.
Coordinate Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library program and assist in OTEC Member Foundation programs and marketing strategies as requested.
Assist in grant writing activities including application development, project alignment, grant management and reporting activities.
Participation in cooperative strategy and initiatives as it relates to Marketing and Community Relations.
This is a full-time position. This position requires that the employee be available for work outside the normal daily work period. Travel may be required within the four-county service territory during the business day and infrequently overnight. Occasional out of the area travel is expected to attend various activities such as meetings, training and other events.

Qualifications
Three years of job-related experience
Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
High school diploma or equivalent
Possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license
