The Content Communications Specialist, under the supervision of the Director of Enrollment Communications, manages the Tarleton State University Division of Enrollment Management's video marketing and other visual communication projects. This position will implement projects/strategies for the continual enhancement of social media presence, develop a content plan to increase engagement of the Tarleton Bound student blog, and will be responsible for the creation of media to support undergraduate enrollment initiatives. This is an in-office position located on the Stephenville Campus. Work hours are 8am-5pm Monday - Friday. Must be able to work remotely at the request of the University.
Responsibilities:Â
30%- Create and execute multimedia projects with an emphasis on video storytelling. Manage the Tarleton Bound YouTube page, develop a video production calendar, ensure media adheres to Tarleton brand standards, and repurpose video content for website, social media, and digital marketing usage.Â
30%- Develops and implements social media platform strategies that align with the Enrollment Management communication strategy and manage the social media presence for Enrollment Management. Work with the Enrollment Communications student intern team to create social media content.Â
20%- Manage the Tarleton Bound student blog editorial calendar. Coordinate with other departments across campus to increase post submissions from staff, faculty, and students. Repurpose blog content for website, social media, and digital marketing usage. Work with the Enrollment Communications student intern team to create blog content.Â
10%- Collaborate with Tarleton Marketing and Communications department stakeholders to ensure collaboration on marketing and communication initiatives that involve Enrollment Management.Â
5%- Assists in developing and implementing the overall Enrollment Management communications plan and managing the communication calendarÂ
5%- Other duties as assignedÂ
Required Education and Experience:Â
Bachelorâ™s degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience. Two years of related experience in e-marketing/web communications and e-marketing campaigns which use pay-per-click and electronic newsletters, social media management, videography, and/or content marketing.Â
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Â
Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and other Adobe Suite Products.
Experience setting up video shoots and shooting with Panasonic camera equipment.
Experience with Word Press and social media scheduling tools.
Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
Strong attention to detail. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently once given a project.
Ability to think creatively and implement concepts in a team environment.
Spanish fluency is preferred.

Commensurate with experience
The target base annual salary is $48,592.50 and may be negotiable based on funding availability and candidate experience/skillset in relation to the minimum requirements of this position.
