About the Role: Grade Level (for internal use): 10 The Team: You will join a creative and enthusiastic global Strategic Marketing Initiatives (SMI) - Credit & Risk team that is responsible for generating qualified leads for new business and driving engagement with current clients. We achieve this through building clear and consistent messaging that is focused on customer workflow and delivering this to market through robust, integrated marketing campaigns that comprise a diverse mix of channels including, but not limited to, digital, (social, email, advertising) events, strategic partnerships, and sales enablement. We also look for ways to constantly create outstanding and innovative campaigns. Responsibilities and Impact: Your position is critical to drive the success of the SMI -Credit & Risk team, and you will have direct alignment with all relevant client segments and other SMI teams, whilst working with the broader marketing and operations teams to work towards common goals. The Marketing Manager will provide critical support to the Associate Director in the development of the strategic marketing plan, stakeholder management, and the development of various marketing campaigns to drive lead generation and engage clients in line with business priorities and targets. The Marketing Manager will also engage with Demand Generation Marketing colleagues and Commercial stakeholders to build a solid understanding of our customers, including target persona workflows, our solutions, the go-to-market strategies, and the global competitive landscape. In this role, you will:

Develop a content marketing strategy to raise awareness of our data-driven insights, and the profile of our thought leadership team and convert them into lead-generation activities.
Manage the regional credit analytics marketing and events and work closely with the global marketing leadership, as well as support the Associate Director in additional marketing tasks.
Contribute to building a comprehensive marketing plan, including a multi-channel approach to achieving results
Help drive the creation of thought leadership in line with the customer journey
Contribute to the success and reputation of marketing within the larger commercial team
Develop skills in leading industry tools such as Salesforce and Marketo
Work as part of a creative, driven, and innovative global marketing team within a Fortune 500 company that is over 150 years old
Responsibilities:
Strategic marketing planning - Help develop and execute the strategic marketing plans and campaigns for Credit Risk Solutions and ensure alignment to business priorities client segments and personas.
Stakeholder management - build and maintain regular cadences of communication with the product management team to understand business priorities and build marketing campaigns to meet the demand of lead generation goals.
Content marketing - help manage and develop robust content calendar with thought leadership team, aligning topics to market trends and the needs of our customers, and in support of our demand generation goals. Various content styles are to be developed in line with the customer journey/marketing funnel.
Marketing communications - Create all types of content including, but not limited to web and advertising copy, social posts, video, and email campaigns using customer-focused messaging.
Digital & SEO - Help optimize our digital footprint across all channels to ensure our content is discoverable and relevant to our customers' needs.
Metrics - Learn the end-to-end lead process, then analyze and measure the performance of each tactic and channel in order to maximize reach and effectiveness.
Event support & management - Work closely with the Events team to assist in the execution of webinars, 3rd party, and hosted events, including pre-event communication, attendee check-ins, and post-event lead processing as well as understand event KPIs; suggest opportunities for event optimization.
Cross-functional teams - Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Events, Marketing Ops, Sales Ops, Education, Design, Compliance, Branding) to support the project management and delivery of all marketing activity and provide timely updates.
Sales enablement - Develop sales collateral and materials to help Sales teams communicate the value proposition in line with customer workflows and the diagnostic selling approach .
Compensation/Benefits Information: (This section is only applicable to US candidates) S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $68,093 to $125,000. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual's geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. This role is eligible to receive additional S&P Global benefits. Bachelor's or MBA Degree (Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred)
Minimum 5+ years' experience working in a marketing or equivalent experience in the financial services/credit markets.
Good understanding of the industries and markets covered by S&P Global Market Intelligence
Experience writing marketing copy that clearly communicates content focus, or a product's benefits and unique selling proposition
Excellent communication skills (oral/written).
Ability to create a multichannel strategic marketing plan
Knowledge of Salesforce CRM and Marketo marketing automation
Strong organizational skills are required to prioritize multiple work priorities and projects concurrently and meet established deadlines.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and changeable environment, and to collaborate with others beyond one's reporting line
