Job Overview: The Part-Time Marketing Coordinator will support the director of marketing and communications in developing and executing marketing campaigns, assisting in managing social media channels, creating engaging content, and analyzing performance metrics. This role requires a proactive individual with strong communication skills and a passion for marketing.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, including digital, social media, email, and traditional marketing.
Create and schedule content for social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn).
Coordinate the production of marketing materials such as brochures, mailers, and event signage.
Maintain and update the company website with fresh content.
Track and report on the performance of social media campaigns.
Assist with organizing and promoting events, both online and in person.
Support the marketing team with administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or currently pursuing one).
Proven experience in a marketing role or internship.
Strong understanding of digital marketing and social media platforms.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with marketing software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Hootsuite).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Google Analytics and content management systems (e.g., WordPress).
Knowledge of email marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp).
Basic graphic design skills.
Working Hours:
This is a part-time remote position, requiring approximately 20 hours per week.
