What Product and Solutions Marketing contributes to Cardinal Health Marketing is responsible for assessing customer needs, market conditions and competition to inform business strategy. Marketing implements the strategy through developing, commercializing and monitoring the appropriate products and services. Product & Solutions Marketing is responsible for defining the product/service and market strategy and life cycle management including customer need identification, market research, product or service offering, pricing, positioning, promotion, branding and distribution to drive customer loyalty, sales growth and improved profitability.

The Pharmacy Marketing team is responsible for the strategic positioning and marketing of the core pharmaceutical distribution for the various classes-of-trade in the Pharmaceutical & Specialty Solutions division. Team members develop and execute go-to-market positioning, strategic marketing plans and tactical programs to meet business objectives.
The Manager, Marketing - Strategic Accounts is responsible for the seamless integration and execution of major marketing campaigns to support our brand, enhance customer experience and grow our market share within the National Markets & Alternate Care classes-of-trade. This includes implementation of value proposition and core messaging to build awareness and thought leadership. This role will lead execution of omni-channel marketing strategy bolstering brand awareness and improving engagement to increase ROI and sales. This role is also accountable for supporting the execution of key brand and experience initiatives like in-person events and meetings. This role will report to the Senior Manager, Marketing - Retail & Strategic Accounts and will work closely with a cross functional team including Sales, Solution Marketing & Operations, Market Intelligence and Analytics, Communications, Legal, Compliance, Digital & Social Media teams, and others. This position is accountable for marketing execution of tactical efforts including advertising, content development, social media, brand-building, other communication efforts with current and prospective customers.
Responsibilities
Partners with business leaders and sales team to support the development and execution of strategic marketing and tactical plans designed to achieve business objectives.
Lead execution of integrated marketing and external communications plans to pull through value proposition and messaging.
Responsible for the management and execution of tradeshow strategy for National Markets & Alternate Care.
Development and management of marketing campaigns designed to achieve defined business objectives with target audiences to drive awareness and reinforce our value proposition.
Executes market research projects, including brand equity tracking, ongoing competitive landscape assessment, market segmentation, and ad hoc market research.
Utilizes strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touchpoints, develops reporting dashboards to track progress towards goals.
Defines budgetary requirements, tracks expenses, and consistently seeks cost savings and efficiency opportunities.
Works closely with the Indirect Procurement team to establish Master Services Agreements (MSAs) and Statements of Work (SOWs), and to evaluate external agencies when needed.
Qualifications
4-8 years of experience preferred
BA, BS or equivalent experience in related field strongly perferred. Advance Degree preferred

Ability to be on-site on average 3 days a week, preferred
Ability to travel 10-15% of the time
