Notre Dame Preparatory School (NDP), a Catholic, independent, college preparatory school for girls in grades 6-12 located in Towson, Maryland, seeks a full-time Senior Marketing Associate who will develop and manage creative and engaging promotional and community-building marketing campaigns that align the school’s brand and messaging across all external and internal offices to foster and maintain positive awareness of Notre Dame Preparatory School throughout the year. As the main priority for this position is Admissions Marketing, this position will work closely with the Directors of Upper Level and Middle Level Admissions and Enrollment Management.
This full-time, 12-month position is part of the Communications Office and reports to the Director of Communications. This position is primarily on-site with the opportunity for hybrid flexibility when appropriate.
Responsibilities:
Marketing
Support the Director of Communications to ensure brand and reputational consistency across all campaigns and events.
A significant percentage of this position will be focused on Admissions Marketing. In collaboration with the Director of Communication and Directors of Middle Level and Upper Level Admissions and Enrollment Management, research, develop, and support admissions marketing plans that drive engagement at all points of the admissions cycle; included is management and execution of marketing materials projects, management and trafficking of admissions advertisements from concept to design to submission; admissions event support where appropriate.
Collaborate to design and produce content and assets that advance marketing and community engagement activities, including but not limited to collateral material, advertisements (TV, radio, print, digital), promotions videos, direct mailings, marketing emails, blogs, and web content.
Manage media agency, vendor, and strategic partner relationships, guiding the quality of work and its impact.
Lead market research and analysis to inform decisions regarding customer behavior, targeting strategies, emerging demographics, new product offerings, as well as future opportunities and threats.
Collaborate with department leaders to identify challenges, competitive threats, and evolving stakeholder behaviors to offer creative and strategic solutions.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as lead conversion rates, customer acquisition costs, and pipeline velocity to identify areas for improvement.
Community Engagement
Develop strategies to foster and maintain strategic relationships and partnerships with individuals and organizations throughout Greater Baltimore and the surrounding areas to advance and expand NDP’s mission and initiatives in the communities we serve. Examples of institutions may include, but are not limited to, the Archdiocese of Baltimore, local Chambers of Commerce, etc.
Manage community engagement and sponsorship initiatives, collaborating with key partners to design event materials, manage/attend on-site activities, track and monitor event attendance, evaluate event outcomes, and recommend future event enhancements.
Provide assistance to WIN Coordinator to uncover opportunities to engage the Baltimore area business community to cultivate relationships and generate WINternship opportunities for the students of NDP.
The ideal candidate will have:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, public relations, communications, or a related field
A minimum of five (5) years of marketing experience
Demonstrated understanding of marketing concepts and best practices
Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions about marketing activities based on that information
Ability to bring marketing concepts to life via creation of assets and execution of tactics
Strong time management and organization skills
Strong collaboration skills
High energy and genuine enthusiasm for education and NDP’s mission.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong analytical and data summarization skills.
Ability to use and leverage technology to collaborate, project-manage, and reach goal objectives.
Discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Canva, Asana, META business suite, Google Console, and CRM systems.
