Position Overview:
As ACG continues to grow, we are seeking a Regional Marketing Coordinator who will work closely with the Regional Marketing Manager, West, and the Regional CEO, West, to execute marketing campaigns that will drive the success of major regional and chapter events and support the growth of ACG membership across the West region merged chapters.
This is a tactical hands-on role where you will be responsible for implementing and executing outreach strategies, advertising campaigns, email marketing, and social media efforts aimed at attracting and growing registrants for in-person events.
ACG is seeking an enthusiastic individual who thrives on the excitement of planning, promoting, and executing live events, and who embraces the rewarding opportunities of working for a professional association. The ideal candidate is a highly organized self-starter who can work independently, manage multiple campaigns simultaneously, and effectively juggle competing priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for supporting the marketing of major chapter events for merged chapters in the West Region and promoting ACG membership in the merged chapters. Those chapters are ACG Los Angeles, ACG San Francisco, ACG Silicon Valley, and ACG Denver. The events include, but may not be limited to:
Below are outlines of the work needed for chapter events.
Work closely with the Regional Marketing Manager and respective Chapter Executive Director to execute comprehensive marketing campaigns
Work with leadership on determining marketing goals.
Execute innovative campaigns, leveraging unique ideas and technology to drive increased paid registrations, sponsorships and overall event success.
Work with the Regional Marketing Manager and respective chapter team to keep in step with the previous years' marketing plan while providing suggestions for improving the marketing plan for forthcoming events.
Attend and participate in, as appropriate, event planning committee meetings to ensure event marketing reflects industry trends and ACG brand.
Execute registered attendee communication pre-event and post-event, including post-event survey development and analysis.
Execute marketing plan for sponsors, board members, committee members, speakers and attendees to promote their participation in the event.
Incorporate creative campaigns for on-site event attendee communication and engagement.

The following are the responsibilities of the role:
Creative Development:
Collaborate with Regional Marketing Manager, chapter staff, and HQ marketing team to design compelling visual assets including email templates, website, digital and print ads, banner ads, social media posts, print materials, and event signage/designs.
Email Marketing & Outreach:
Execution of email marketing campaigns
Oversee the design & creation of emails in approved email distribution system (Informz) – including HTML coding
Manage distribution lists
Monitoring, tracking & analyzing – performance management to ensuring everything is working effectively
Develop and send surveys for further improvements
Social Media Strategy:
Execute social media campaigns to amplify event and membership awareness and engagement across various platforms.
Oversee and supply suggested images and creative briefs
Support social media execution for committee(s), board, attendees, sponsors, etc.
Website Management:
Execute marketing strategy for any updates to microsite
Creation of new event pages, basic web pages, banner ads, articles/press releases, etc.
Event Marketing Performance & Analytics:
Use website user tracking and customer journey data to assess campaign performance, adjusting as needed to optimize results and drive continual improvement.
Develop score cards and dashboards for reporting on campaign success.
Event Execution:
Support the execution of event marketing
Actively engage in post-event discussions to create more memorable events moving forward

Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in strategic event marketing, preferably in corporate growth, associations, or similar industries.
Strong experience in developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns (email, digital, social, and print) to drive engagement and event registration.
Proven track record of using data and analytics to drive marketing decisions and optimize campaigns.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft engaging promotional copy and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Experience presenting and engaging with executive-level stakeholders
Creative and analytical mindset with the ability to think strategically while managing day-to-day execution.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines across large in-person events.
Experience working with sponsorship teams to develop prospectus materials and secure sponsors.
Strong proficiency in marketing tools (email marketing platforms, analytics tools, CRM systems, project management tools) Monday.com experience a plus. Social media tools a plus.
Travel to key ACG events as needed to ensure that marketing efforts are aligned and adjusted based on in-person experiences.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
