SEMA is seeking a proactive and results-oriented Marketing Account and Client Services Associate
to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate is a natural relationship-builder with 3-5 years of experience in marketing, account management, or client services. The Account Associate will support the Marketing Account and Client Services Manager in managing client/stakeholder relationships, executing marketing strategies, and ensuring the successful delivery of marketing campaigns and projects. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Principal Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Support the Marketing Account and Client Services Manager in building and maintaining strong relationships with internal clients, assisting with strategic planning and execution.
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned internal clients, fostering strong relationships to understand their goals and marketing needs. Conduct regular check-ins with clients to ensure alignment on strategy, deliverables, and expectations.
Resolve client issues and complaints promptly, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and reports to clients and internal stakeholders.
Collaborate with internal teams to execute integrated marketing projects and campaigns, including operations, creative services, web services, digital marketing, email marketing, social media, public relations, and communications.
Demonstrate a strong understanding of various marketing deliverables and project needs. Actively review briefing materials to support internal teams with project onboarding and the development of creative briefs
Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to ensure timely client milestones and successful execution of campaigns.
Monitor campaign performance and analyze key metrics to evaluate effectiveness, identify areas for optimization, and provide actionable insights to the Marketing Account and Client Services Manager and clients.
Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continually enhance the services and offerings of the marketing team.
Attend and participate in SEMA-sponsored and other external activities, events, and functions as required.
When directed by management, perform other assignments and duties as required.

Reports to Account and Client Services Manager
Interfaces with all levels of staff.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
Principal Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field.
Proven experience as a Marketing Account Associate or in a similar marketing role.
Strong understanding of marketing principles, techniques, and best practices across various channels, including digital, social media, content, and traditional media.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and persuasively, both verbally and in writing.
Exceptional client service skills, with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Organized, detail-oriented, and thorough, with strong time-management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
Data-driven and highly analytical, capable of making metrics-based decisions.
Proactively seeks solutions to problems but knows when to ask for help/guidance.
Marketing or creative agency experience is a plus.
Proven experience in the automotive aftermarket industry or nonprofit industry is a plus.
