TheMarketing and CommunicationsSpecialistworks collaboratively todevelop, implement, andcreatecomprehensivecommunications and visual designprojects for The Ohio Colleges of Medicine Government Resource Center (GRC).The Marketing and Communications Specialist supportsthe design, implementation, measurement, and optimization of marketing and communicationdeliverablesand programs with long-and short-term strategies that support institutionaland state sponsorpriorities andorganizationalgoals, while contributing to building theGRCbrand; assists GRCemployeeswithdeliveringvisual designand accessibility requestsand coordinating the workflowrelated to research communications and data visualizations; applies technical and in-depth design software knowledgeand project management practicesto enhanceprojectmaterials, digital assets,andevents.The Marketing and Communications specialistmanages the effective and efficient delivery of communications both internally and externally, including executive communications supportand faculty and staff from Ohios Academic Medical Centers; conveysdifficultor complex information in an accessible way.
Reporting to the Director of Communications and Marketing this position willassistthe Director of Communications and Marketing and the Communications Team withdeveloping branding, stakeholder engagement, event planning/promotion, and digital marketing materials within its programmatic areas (Health and Health Service Research, Evaluation, Project Management, and Quality Improvement).
Minimum Education Required
Bachelorsdegree in a relevant field or equivalent isrequired.
Required Qualifications
A minimum oftwoyears of relevant experience with a bachelors degree.
Requires successful completion of a background check.Selectedcandidate may be requested to complete a pre-employmentphysicalincluding a drug screen.
Two to fouryears ofvisual designexperience preferred
Excellent project and process management skills
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with varied constituencies
Proficient inAdobe Creative Suite andMicrosoft Officeapplications.
Knowledgeof Digital Accessibilitystandards.
