The Boston University Dean of Students and Division of Student Affairs Departments within the Division of Student Affairs and the Office of the Dean of Students respond to student needs; help students solve their problems; and work with students to create communities. We interact with students and student associations to represent student concerns and to provide programs and services that facilitate both personal and academic growth. Specifically, we advise student organizations; plan ways to acclimate students to the University; set and regulate standards; provide a living room for the campus; give students ways to come alive through their identities and cultures culturally; make certain the University experience is accessible
