Summary of Position: | Part-time teaching and related responsibilities; utilizing face-to-face, blended, and/or online modes of delivery; assuring/improving learning through assessment, close consultation with program faculty, as well as training via the Faculty Center for Teaching and Learning. This is a pooled position. One or more applicants may be hired as needed to teach classes on a semester-by-semester basis. This posting is being used for face to face and/or online instruction. However, the candidate selected for the position must reside in Michigan after acceptance of employment. The anticipated start date of this position is January of 2023 at the earliest, and August of 2023 at the latest.

Additional Education/Experiences to be Considered: | Doctorate (Ph.D. or DBA) in marketing or closely-related field.
Has recent experience as a college instructor in marketing. | |
Essential Duties/Responsibilities: | Teach one or more courses such as Principles of Marketing, Sales, Sales Management, Marketing Research, International Marketing. The course topics will be assigned based on the credentials to teach them.
Faculty members also have professional responsibilities which may include but are not limited to: keeping regular posted office hours (which are scheduled at times convenient for students), and participation in traditional functions which have academic significance (ex. reporting initial student participation data and submitting final grades on time)
Demonstrates an understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion, especially in working relationships with students, faculty, staff and community members.
