Under minimal supervision, the Specialist II, RMPDS Marketing/Public Relations, will be responsible for developing and managing strategic marketing and media plans for the Denver Health Colorado Medicaid Nurse Line. This role focuses on increasing utilization of the Nurse Advice Line, particularly among high-value populations such as frequent Emergency Department (ED) users. The Specialist will utilize data to guide strategy, oversee program management, lead marketing initiatives, and manage advertising production, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and budget considerations. Experience working with diverse populations and tailoring outreach strategies to meet unique needs. Monitor program performance and track key metrics to assess the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and outreach efforts. Prepare and present reports on key metrics and marketing outcomes, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
Essential Functions:
Lead all marketing efforts utilizing data to inform strategy and marketing to increase utilization of the Nurse Advice Line, especially in identified high value populations such as high ED utilizers. (15%)
Develops and implements marketing campaigns and programs. Develops relevant strategy and implements tactics to meet deadlines of project plans, collaborates with all key individuals for accuracy and thoroughness of information. (15%)
Assesses and develops marketing-related communication needs of the Denver Health Colorado Medicaid Nurse Line. Ensures messages are organized, accurate, comprehensive, consistent with the overall brand and meets organizational standards. (15%)
Maintains relationships with key internal stakeholders and provides consultation in marketing efforts. Proactively promotes gathering of feedback and recommendation. (10%)
Plans and develops publication of collaterals (e.g., flyers, brochures, website content, and presentations). (10%)
Reviews analytics of plans/tactics and feels comfortable making recommendations for improvement to meet goals. (10%)
Face to Face presentation and education of regional clinics (10%)
Project oversite, monitoring, guiding, and ensuring that the project is progressing as planned (10%)
Contract management (5%)
Education:
Bachelor's Degree Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or related field Required
or equivalent level of additional related experience
Work Experience:
1-3 years Three years experience healthcare marketing and/or communications programs Required
Licenses:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Microsoft Office
Experience in Social Media platforms and Adobe Creative Suite
Customer Relations Management Systems
Google Analytics, Marketing Automation platforms and other web-based technologies
