INTERNATIONAL PROGRAMS The UC Davis School of Law International Programs is a self-supporting academic unit that designs and provides year-round complex academic degrees, programs, courses, and conferences for international clients from across the globe. Established in 1990, the programs are taught by law school faculty and senior legal professionals to approximately 200 foreign lawyers, judges, prosecutors, academics, undergraduate and graduate international law students per year. 4,000+ International Law Programs alumni form a closely connected worldwide network of legal professionals associated with prestigious global institutions. The International Law Programs portfolio consists of the Academic Year LL.M. program, Visiting Scholars, the J.D. Exchange Program, Summer Programs including Orientation in USA Law Program, joint academic programs with partner law schools abroad, custom programs, faculty exchanges and international professional conferences. The International Law Programs creates linkages with major global law universities and other prestigious institutions and undertakes new programs based on law school goals and marketplace opportunities.
Job Summary
Under general direction of the Associate Dean of International Programs, and in collaboration with the Director of LL.M. Admissions and Outreach, design, implement and manage the global marketing strategy for the UC Davis School of Law International Law Programs, working with law school, campus and outside vendors and entities as appropriate. Work collaboratively with the LL.M. Admissions and Outreach team, the Associate Dean, King Hall and campus partners, outside vendors and the International Law Programs staff on marketing strategies and implementation to create the top of the admissions funnel to bring students to the law school. Develop, enhance and maintain website information, social media platforms, and advertising outlets for our LL.M., summer law programs, California International Law Center (CILC) presentations, exchange and visiting scholar programs, and other specialized programs as they arise. Develop and implement comprehensive strategic marketing plans that meet the International Law Program department needs. Set goals and provide regular updates on reach and impact of marketing efforts. Research and develop marketing content including design, video, social media, and images. Propose new and innovative projects in marketing and communications. Collect, organize and improve quality of alumni data.
Lift and transport 50-pound boxes containing course materials and supplies.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work occasional evenings and weekends.
Restricted vacation schedule during peak season (June to August).

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Education/Experience:
Experience reporting analytics and data regularly and using these to inform and implement and improve a marketing strategy.
Experience using a website content management system (CMS) to create, edit and organize webpages. Experience using social media platforms to market a product or service, including up-to-date knowledge of social media as it is used in the university.
Experience designing, configuring/implementing, maintaining, evaluating and improving CRM and marketing automation infrastructure using various programs. Experience collaborating on marketing-related system integrations/improvements. Experience handling the personal contact data of various audiences accurately and in full compliance with all applicable international and domestic laws as well as UCOP, UC Davis, UC Davis School of Law and all other applicable policies.
Experience communicating effectively and creating relationships with clients, vendors, and others inside and outside of the organization to achieve overall marketing strategic goals.
Experience working independently and establishing priorities to meet multiple deadlines, organize work flow and work with minimal general direction.
Experience with Adobe Acrobat; MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint; website CMS experience, bulk email content (such as Constant Contact) experience; CRM (such as Microsoft Dynamics) experience.

Ability to strategically design, create and execute a marketing strategy that follows a complex marketing implementation plan involving multiple parties, timelines and delivery systems.

Outstanding communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively and positively with foreign clients such as students, alumni, faculty, vendors, consultants, etc.
