Compensation: $104,000 - $114,000 (depends on qualifications)
The Salesforce/Marketing Cloud Administrator works in an Agile/Scrum environment and is responsible for the day to day operations, architecture and support of the Salesforce/Marketing Cloud environments. The role also works with new and existing end-users to document business processes and requirements, inform enhancement activities, advise on system integrations, and lead unit testing and other business analysis functions. The position works under limited supervision and operates as a team, project and end-user lead, providing procedural and technical guidance to the team and end users and serving as the escalation point for resolving production and development issues.

Marketing Cloud Leadership (60% time)
Serve as subject matter expert for existing and new Marketing Cloud clients at the University, including providing best practices for content builder, data extensions, dynamic content, email studio and journey builder.
Perform analysis and provide implementation recommendations based on business requirements.
Provide guidance/coaching/training for peers and clients on system configuration, functionality and enhancements as released by Marketing Cloud.
Work with clients and team developers to analyze business requirements and provide recommendations for enhanced Marketing Cloud functionality.
Work with clients and team developers to analyze integration requirements and provide recommendations for integration utilizing Marketing Cloud Connector or other integration technologies.
Perform Marketing Cloud Administration activities to support the day-to-day operations of the system.
Business Analysis (35% time)
Lead new Salesforce CRM clients in business process analysis and requirements gathering to align implementation solutions with short and long-term business strategies and reduce technical debt.
Document business requirements and create functional specifications to be utilized when implementing a new client to the Salesforce platform.
Perform data analysis including cleaning, transforming, modeling and importing of data for new Salesforce clients as well as design data reporting solutions to meet business requirements.
Lead unit testing, document test cases and coordinate with QA analyst and client for Quality Assurance Testing and User Acceptance Testing.
Provide technical support and coaching for end users; work with end user support professionals on other tiers to resolve escalated incidents and document known issues.
Educate clients and peers on feature enhancements and make recommendations for improvements to business processes to best leverage technology.
Application Innovation (5% time)
Understand technology trends and vendor product roadmaps to determine how they best fit the demands/requests of clients and how delivered functionality can be best leveraged.
Required Qualifications (must be documented on resume):
BA/BS plus at least four years of experience, or master’s degree plus at least two years of experience, or a comparable combination of education, training, and/or experience.
