Description of Work:
The Associate Director will be responsible for operationalizing marketing and communication strategies as assigned for the Offices of Admissions, Scholarships and Financial Aid and the University Registrar. In close collaboration with the Director of Enrollment Marketing, the position will ensure the implementation, measurement and continuous improvement of data-driven strategies designed to recruit and retain students. In addition to advancing assigned internal communication strategies, this position will ensure all regularly scheduled external communications are completed without error and on deadline. This position will supervise five professional staff: senior assistant director, two assistant directors, copywriter, and web content coordinator.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of experience with translating marketing communication fundamentals into strategic execution in support of business goals required. Ability to analyze data and draw conclusions related to marketing communication goals necessary. Experience building relationships across an organization in service of communication goals, especially with non-communication professionals essential. Must have experience being accountable for marketing communication goals. Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prefer 4 years of progressive leadership in marketing communications. Experience supervising marketing or communication staff desirable. Experience contributing to communication strategy within a mid-to large-sized organization helpful. Experience with marketing communication research preferred.
Posted Salary: 60,000/ yr minimum
